Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only daughter born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a worker in a factory. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She was one of the three siblings. Stone started second grade in kindergarten when she was five. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania, was where she earned her diploma in 1975. She also competed at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone moved back to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to pursue a modeling career after signing at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Then, she moved to Europe, spending a year in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone, however, became dissatisfied with the acting and modeling in Europe. She decided to pursue her career acting as a model while she lived there. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," a film that received mixed praises.
