Singer and actress and songwriter Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the crew on One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. The first three albums she released as a singer-songwriter included in episodes of the show that helped her debut album of the same name to make it into the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, also reached in the Top Ten. The decade ended with her appearances in Dancing with the Stars, TV films and non-album singles. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up in Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to music from the country genre and eventually went on to pursue a career in recording. She first made an acting debut when she was a teenager in 2002's indie horror movie Dead/Undead. Her appearances were in guest spots in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was later cast to appear as Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its finale season (2012). Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer signed a recording contract to Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary love song for country music I Won't Give Up in a show episode from 2011 on One Tree Hill. The song was released in 2012. the song was released on Jana Kramer - her first album. It landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. She remained focused on her career in music thereafter without retiring from acting she appeared in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. Kramer released her second album Thirty One on Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. It was boosted by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to number 3 in the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. Beginning in September of 2016, she spent two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth position. This was also the season that she scored an adult-contemporary hit, with Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
